However, there was an equal amount of opposition to this film. Many people also commented that women were not given any value in the movie. But this movie got huge collections at the box office. But for the OTT release, the audience was eagerly waiting. Finally fulfilling their wish, Animal on Netflix started streaming from january 26 midnight.
The movie will be streaming in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages. But some fans are leaving comments on social media saying that they are hurt.
There is another reason why fans are waiting so much for Animal OTT release. Eearlier, Sandeep Reddy Vanga had announced that he will release an extended version exclusively on OTT. About 8 minutes of scenes will be added. With this, the audience’s interest in this OTT release has increased. But if you look at Tira OTT, it seems that the same theatrical version has been put up for streaming. This disappointed many fans. Fans are hoping that the OTT version will show the unseen footage. But the theatrical run time is 3 hours 21 minutes and OTT is 3 hours 24 minutes. Some fans say that three minutes of scenes have been added. Animal is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, Murad Khetani, Pranay Reddy Vanga. Eearlier, there was a dispute between co-producer of Animal, CINE 1 studios private limited and T-Series. The matter was settled in Delhi High Court after Cine 1 Studios filed a plea to put a hold on the film’s release on the OTT platform till T-Series complied with the terms of the agreement in which the two houses had agreed to have 35percent ownership each of the film and assigned its right of first refusal and last matching right.
The two productionย houses appeared through their respective senior advocates, Sandeep Sethi and Amit Sibal, who submitted that a settlement agreement was signed between their clients and brought the same on record. The submissions were noted down by the bench of Justice Sanjeev Narula.
