Liz Cambage under investigations into ‘integrity and code of conduct violations’ Liz Cambage.
Liz Cambage is officially examining the “incompatibility framework and code of conduct in the aftermath of her departure last week from the Opals Olympic Team” from Basketball Australia.
Cambage, four-time all star player of the WNBA and Best Opals, retired last week from the team and said they needed to play “Mentally and physically take care of [herself].
Basketball Australia confirmed that the 29-year-old was under investigation in a statement amid reports of a series of incidents in Opals’ camp in Las Vegas.

“The circumstances of the event between Nigeria and Australia involving Liz Cambage are under investigation for an infringement of the integrity and code of conduct” the statement reads.
“We are not going to comment on the status of the investigation until the matter has been concluded, as Liz is absent from the Olympic Games on mental health reasons.”
The research is being conducted by the Integrity Division of Basketball Australia.”
Cambage itself confirmed that she was involved during the scrutiny against Nigeria in a physical altercation, but suggested that rumors about the incident were gone out of hand.

“Yes, in the Nigeria game things got heated,” she said. “It has been a physical disorder, and there have been exchanges of words, but I hear things which are certainly not true.” It’s all on the movie that has happened and all that has been said.”
Also, the rumors she went outside the Opals Las Vegas blowble were strongly denied by Cambage.
“I see reports that I have gone out of the party. S—-. I wish that I did! I wish I did!” She said. – She said.
“I know that this week was a really good time for some of the people in Vegas. But here I was, bro. I was. I was in here. I was here. And for the All-Star game the only time I left the goddamn bubble “Lies, I do not enjoy. You never sick lying on my name. Do not you ever get sick. You’ve got nothing more to talk about?”
On 27 July the Opals Cambage-less will begin their Olympics with a match-up of the Group C versus Belgium.
