Ricky Stuart, the coach of the Canberra Raiders, is allegedly being investigated for a sideline incident during Saturday’s NRL match against the Warriors.

The Kiwis won a dramatic 34-31 game at GIO Stadium, scoring a try late in the game before saving a try with seconds left to secure a three-point victory.

With the New Zealand team coming back from a 31-10 loss at the 50-minute mark, it was statistically the biggest turnaround in NRL history for the Warriors.

Stuart, on the other hand, seemed noticeably enraged at something, most likely a questionable refereeing decision that allowed the Warriors to score a second-half try despite a clear forward pass.

After Ben Murdoch-controversial Masila’s four-pointer, the 54-year-old can be seen tossing his arms in the air from the sidelines.

Stuart reportedly dropped an F-bomb in harassment of referee Henry Perenara, according to The Daily Telegraph on Sunday afternoon, which the Canberra mentor vehemently refuted.

Stuart told News Corp that he “didn’t go anywhere near him or say anything to him.”

“Like 13,500 other people, I was singing out and venting my anger, but it wasn’t aimed at someone in particular.”

The NRL match review committee is reviewing video and audio footage before making a decision, according to the article.

Stuart delivered a 33-second rant to reporters after Saturday’s loss before leaving the press conference.

“I come in here because it is my job,” Stuart explained, “and I admire the fact that you (journalists) have a job when I have $20,000 hanging over my head.

I’ll be charged if I don’t show up. I would tell you the truth today if all of the fine money went to the Ricky Stuart Foundation because I know that money is going to the greatest cause I know of. “But I can’t tell you the truth, I can’t tell you how that game turned out because I would be fined, so I’m not going to answer any questions. “I’ve completed my task.”

On Saturday evening, the Canberra Raiders will take on the Gold Coast Titans at Cbus Super Stadium.
