Ignore the haters: I’m 23 years old and smitten with my ‘wrinkly’ 60-year-old girlfriend.
The hottest new couple on social media embodies two of the most romantic cliches: “Love is blind” and “Age is just a number.”
Despite their 37-year age difference, these unabashed lovebirds are defying trolls to take TikTok by storm with viral clips of them dancing and smooching.
“King” Qurann, 23, who uses the TikTok handle @ttvleolove 3, frequently shares footage with his 60-year-old girlfriend “Queen” Cheryl, who uses the TikTok handle @oliver6060.
Their now-viral videos frequently feature them swaying to R&B songs or bopping to rap hits. They maintain that their love is genuine, and a sizable number of others agree — Qurann currently has 420,200 followers and more than 6.8 million likes.
However, a slew of haters have weighed in, with many calling their unconventional TikTok affair “disgusting” and shaming “wrinkly” Cheryl’s “decomposing” face, as the Sun first reported.
The couple responds to the question, “Does your family approve of your dating?” in a recent clip that has been viewed 3.7 million times. The devoted duo simply replied, “Yeah.”
![Cheryl has been shamed by commenters for being a "poor thing [who] can barely walk" and someone who will "need oxygen and a life alert" whenever they post a TikTok dancing video.](https://givnews.b-cdn.net/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/2-Commenters.jpg?x35978)
Many people have made scathing comments in the comments section of their videos about their relationship’s sincerity. According to some, Qurann must be with her because she is wealthy, while others have described him as a caretaker for a dying woman.
In one response video with 1.2 million likes, cruel comments ranged from “he’s dating Prince Philip” to “She’s decomposing.” In another, commenters mocked Cheryl for being a “poor thing who can barely walk” and dragged her as someone who will “need oxygen and a life alert” whenever they post a dancing video.
Despite the derogatory remarks, the couple claims they have received support from their respective families, including Cheryl’s children, who are older than Qurann.
Cheryl, who recently revealed she suffers from an eating disorder, has been singled out for facial wrinkles that make her resemble Qurann’s “great-grandmother,” and the backlash has taken a toll on her man.

Qurann hurls household items at Cheryl’s online bullies in one video captioned “me defending my girl in the comments section.”
Additionally, the couple has used Instagram Live to speak out against haters. Cheryl stated in a recent video post, “I’m not doing anything wrong.” We dance, we spread good vibes, and we have a lot going for us [and] I’m not going to let the haters win.”
Qurann has also responded directly to hate mail about Cheryl’s wrinkles being “worse than a cabbage,” telling viewers that they send hate mail because “nobody looks at you the way I look at her.”
This is far from the first younger-older couple to face online trolls. In 2019, an Instagram user dubbed a couple with a 24-year age gap “crazy in love.” Numerous celebrity couples, including Lionel Richie, 71, and Lisa Parigi, 30, have also received a healthy dose of online hate mail and supportive comments.
Meanwhile, Qurann and Cheryl are steadfast in their pursuit of “couple goals throughout 2021,” one TikTok at a time.
