A Citi Field concertgoer consumed acid prior to his deadly fall.
According to police sources, the man who died after attempting a flip on a Citi Field balcony during a Dead & Company event apparently used acid before to the deadly fall.
The victim, 46, was also intoxicated and smoking marijuana prior to dropping 30 to 50 feet during an interval and landed on the pavement below at approximately 9 p.m. According to law enforcement authorities, a friend informed cops on Friday.
The man was pronounced dead at Queens-based New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
“I heard people say ‘ahhh’ and saw people flee. I yelled, ‘Bro, someone took a f—ing header,'” a fan wearing a tie-dye tank top told The Post late Friday.
A driver working outside the stadium stated that he seen the man “flip” before collapsing to the ground.
