As the pilot declares a lockout, passengers leave their flight to Brisbane.
Travelers have been thrown into confusion after Brisbane declared a three-day lockout in response to a coronavirus outbreak.
Brisbane will be placed back on lockdown at 5 p.m. on Monday, according to Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk.
A plane full of tourists was planning to leave Sydney for the Sunshine State as she made the announcement.
After the pilot told passengers of the imminent lockout, the Jetstar flight emptied by about a third.
The pilot can be heard saying, “Information we’re just receiving now, just in the last 10 minutes about the lockdown situation in Brisbane, that they’ve just confirmed that Brisbane city and the surrounding areas are going into a three-day lockdown.”

“In light of this, some travelers have decided not to fly.
“It’s up to you; you can de-board the plane and speak with the ground staff about potentially being re-booked for another flight, with refunds available.”
Passengers were trapped while those who had checked luggage attempted to retrieve it.
Airlines scrambled to respond to the lockdown announcement.
Flights to and from Brisbane will run as normal on Monday, according to a Virgin Australia spokesperson, as the airline assesses the situation.
“States and territories are introducing updated border controls due to the changing situation in Greater Brisbane,” the spokesperson said.
“While services are currently running as usual, changes in customer demand and booking patterns may necessitate a change in our forward schedule.”
Brisbane, meanwhile, will go into lockdown for three days beginning at 5 p.m. on Monday.
Greater Brisbane residents will stick to the four key reasons for leaving the building.
For students whose parents are not necessary jobs, schools will be closed on Tuesday.
