The 2021 Mercedes-AMG GT Coupe Night Edition is limited to only 15 units and will arrive in Australia in the third quarter of the year with a manufacturer’s recommended list price of AU$294,200 (US$228,132).
It is available in three exterior colors: Obsidian Black, Selenite Grey, and Graphite Grey Magno. It features an AMG-exclusive grille with dark chrome vertical slats, a carbon fiber roof with dark tinted edges, and headlamps with black design elements. The special edition is equipped with the AMG Exterior Night Package and rides on 19-inch front and 20-inch rear matte black light alloy wheels with a white AMG emblem on the black brake calipers.
AMG Interior Night Package, Nappa leather upholstery, Dinamica microfiber steering wheel and headliner, AMG Performance seats with diamond-pattern quilting, piano lacquer accents, and tinted rear windows all contribute to the cockpit’s similar theme.

The center console is adorned with a ‘Night Edition’ badge and a slew of equipment, including dual-zone climate control, an AMG instrument panel, a Burmester premium sound system, dual-zone climate control, and heated and electrically adjustable seats with memory feature. Active Brake Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Assist, Pre-Safe, and a reversing camera are all standard, as are eight airbags.
The 2021 GT Coupe Night Edition’s twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 produces 390 kW (530 PS / 523 HP) and 670 Nm (494 lb-ft) of torque, allowing a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration time of 3.8 seconds.

The high-performance composite braking system provides stopping power, and the vehicle also features adaptive suspension, an electronically controlled limited-slip differential, a retractable rear spoiler, a drive selector with ‘Race’ mode, and a new 12-volt lithium-ion battery.
